Internships
KVIK is looking for interns for the Fall 2007 quarter. Join KVIK and get credit through your department at the same time. We commonly offer internships through the communications department, but it is possible to have an internship through another department if it contributes to the understanding of your discipline. Applications will be up mid-quarter, but the current positions we will be looking for are:
Promoductions Coordinator:
Create promotional videos for different AS programs. This is a great position both for someone who is new to video and needs something to cut their teeth on, or for somebody with a lot of experience interested in crafting great videos for a good cause. View full job description (pdf)
Event Productions Coordinator:
Shoot and edit AS events throughout the quarter. Learn how to do multi-camera shoots and how to edit video. There is also a fair amount of communication with other AS program leaders. We need someone who's willing to shoot events in the evenings and wants to get a bit of experience in video editing.

Producer:
Want to produce your own TV show? Want to get credit for doing it to? A producer is in charge of getting together a crew to shoot with, organizing meetings, and putting out solid television content. If you have a show idea, come down to our office (Viking Union 423) to discuss.
Other opportunities:
If you want to do something that you think could be both a good learning experience for yourself and useful for KVIK, don't hesitate to come on down and discuss it with us. We're open to all sorts of ideas for internships, and can probably arrange pretty much anything you want with your department.
How to apply:
Print out one of the above descriptions, and attach your resume and a cover letter, and drop it off in our inbox. You are also welcome to walk in to the office and discuss internship possibilities as well. The sky is the limit.
