Where to Watch
An important distinction to make is that KVIK Television is not a television station. We are an AS Program dedicated to the production of television programming. This programming is then broadcast onto WWU's on-campus channel and, if we are legally allowed to, onto our web streaming service. We will also be releasing DVDs of some of our shows.
Channel 16
Channel 16 is the on-campus TV station. If you live in the dorms, you can watch this channel if your television is plugged into your room's cable service. For a detailed programming schedule, check out the calendar page.
Why can't all of KVIK's programming be put on Ourmedia?
KVIK through the AS has a license with the music industry that allows us to use copyrighted, recorded music as long as it's played on-campus (including on the on-campus TV station). Because some of our programming uses copyrighted music, we are not allowed to show it on the internet.
DVDs
We are currently working out a system so we can distribute DVD copies of our shows. Keep an eye on this page for more information as it comes.
